This Bobcat S220 skid steer wouldn't drive forward - the machine would shut down.

So our expert Bobcat technician, Dexter, reversed the skid steer into the shop and then began a methodical investigation.

Dexter immediately observed there was no hydraulic fluid in the tank. It turns out there was a leak due to a loose fitting that wouldn't tighten. He replaced the assembly components and the leak was resolved.

Next, Dexter identified two broken battery terminals. The fuel shutoff solenoid was short circuiting, likely attributable to losing power at the broken positive and negative terminals. Fixing the terminals alleviated the problem with the fuel shutoff solenoid. The S220 skid steer was back to operating properly.
